I'm a video game programmer with ~9 years of experience in developing various games in a variety of genres for smartphones (iOS, Android, and Windows Phone) and PC using the Unity game engine.
I love playing video games and so I have a considerable understanding of gameplay mechanics, game design, balance, and aesthetics. So, I consider myself a bit of a generalist in that regard.
I'm primarily a gameplay programmer, but I frequently dabble in the game design, shader/graphics programming, a bit of creative coding, web development, and some video game UI design.
I work with Unity but I have also played with lower level frameworks like p5.js, raylib, and three.js and am interested in exploring other engines like Godot and Unreal as well.
